Travel is included: we price at parity across India and internationally, so a Mumbai commission costs what a Kolkata commission costs, with no outstation charges added.
What travelling coverage actually means
Because we come to you as a full crew rather than assembling local freelancers, the team that meets you at the first ritual is the team that shoots the last one. Continuity matters more than people expect: a cinematographer who has already watched your family interact on day one frames day three differently. Our minimum commission is two days at eight to nine hours per day, which exists for the same reason, since a single-day booking produces coverage without a narrative.
Our approach
The method is true-to-life and unobtrusive. We document as the day unfolds instead of directing it, which means no stiff group arrangements and no asking a family to repeat a ritual for the camera. The look is editorial; the method is documentary. In practice that means we spend a lot of time in the quiet gaps, the room before the baraat leaves, the grandmother watching from the side, the moments between the scheduled events that a shot list will never contain.
Deliverables
Every commission is delivered as professionally edited photographs and a director-led cinematic film. We do not deliver raw or unedited files; each frame is selected and finished by our team. Complete galleries arrive within four to eight weeks. Albums are produced as genuine Canvera photobooks with textured, non-tearable page options, and you and your guests can reach the galleries through the private Piixonova app from anywhere in the world.
Coverage extends to aerial drone work, 360-degree immersive sequences, underwater cinematography, and live broadcast when a celebration calls for it.
Planning a Mumbai wedding from outside the city
A large share of our commissions come from families organising a wedding in a city none of them currently live in, frequently NRI families returning to India for the celebration. We are used to working from a distance: planning calls before the dates, coordination with your planner and venue directly, and a crew that arrives early enough to see the spaces in the light they will be shooting in.
